Senior Internal Auditor – Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)

Our client is a well established global market leader in the corporate sector. Due to sustainable growth, they are looking to expand their team and hire a Sarbanes Oxley Lead Consultant to their Internal Controls team. This is a role that offers the opportunities and growth that you have been looking for. Your expertise in this field will see you take the lead in reviewing and determining the reliability of internal controls, supporting risk assessment and corporate Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
Your exceptional technical knowledge and reporting know-how will be instrumental in preparing audit reports, reporting results to management and other related duties. This is a dynamic position for someone that is on the upward curve in the career and ready for that next challenge. You will be business partnering with stakeholders across the business and involved in adhoc projects.
You are looking for a role that allows you to showcase your exceptional technical talents as well as your impressive business insights, which bring real value to a workplace. If you are a self starter, driven, and highly motivated, this is the role for you.
You will have a degree in accounting, finance or commerce. You will be CA/CIA/CPA or CIMA qualified. You will have solid prior experience in internal audit, controls testing and remediation, ideally with a Big4 or mid-tier consultancy background. Relevant SOX compliance and controls testing experience (US or UK experience in this field would be extremely advantageous). You will be confident in advising and presenting back to clients on internal audit and risk management strategies and methodologies. You are required to have outstanding communication skills and teamwork skills.

*Please note this will initially offered as an 6 month contract, with opportunity to extend. Due to the size of the company, there may be opportunities for a permanent role further down the track
