Payroll Officer | 8 week contract | Part Time Hours

Our client is a leading services organisation managing a range of sites across Australia, they are a leader in their unique market.

We are looking for an accomplished Payroll Officer to commit for 6-8 weeks.  You will manage end to end fortnightly payroll on an adhoc/float basis for a number of sites to cover for annual leave and staff shortages. 

You must have experience interpreting EBAs, and have demonstrated experience running payroll in a rostered workforce environment. You will be responsible for setting up new starters, calculating and processing termination payments, processing leave, expenses and overtime payments, along with internal and statutory reporting. 

The ideal candidate must be a payroll specialist and have hands on experience in stand alone payroll environments. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to interpret awards and EBA’s and have an solid understanding current legislation and obligations. Prior experience in a rostered workforce environment will be key. You will be confident in picking up payroll systems and have a working knowledge of MS Excel. Experience using Kronos would be an advantage.

– Immediate start – CBD location with some travel required
– Up to $45h (based on experience)
– 6-8 week contract
