Financial Accountant Temporary to Permanent

Working in a collaborative team and reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the Financial Accounting. You role will be varied and cover expenses and purchase order analysis, accounts receivable, month end reporting, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, cash flow reporting, authorisation of payments, FBT and other ad hoc duties as required. You will also work closely with the management accountant and the rest of the finance team. Being a link with the business on finance systems issues and authorisations, will also form part of this role.
Communication across the business with non finance stakeholders, is also needed and requires an ability to communicate and influence and assist the various departments.
CA/CPA is essential and exposure to the education industry and the system “Synergetic” experience is highly desirable. You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to hit the ground running immediately. Advanced Excel is essential and you will be a true team player and very hands on.
This is a great opportunity to join a small, hands on team in an initial contract role that will lead to permanent, for the right person. You will join a collaborative team environment and salary depends on experience. Guide is $45 – $55 ph plus super. Must be able to start on short notice and location is North side.
