As Finance Manager you will be reporting to the CEO and manage a part time bookkeeper. This is a very broad role, hands on and will encompass all aspects of month end, financial reporting, board reporting, compliance, payroll, FBT/BAS and audit and budgeting/forecasting. There is a strong emphasis on managing cashflow and presenting to and managing high profile board relationships.
As the ‘Head of Finance’ you must have strong knowledge of finance and accounting matters in order to support the CEO and there will be ongoing projects and mergers/ acquisitions to keep you engaged.
You will ideally be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years experience in a Finance Manager role and comfortable with all aspects of running a Finance function in an SME or NFP. A strong technical ability is essential along with a commercial and operational focus in order to deliver results. You will take ownership and have experience delivering to a board and managing tight cashflow. You must be comfortable being in a stand alone role and natural ability to influence with a solutions driven attitude and a truly collaborative approach.
MYOB essential – advanced Excel skills also essential
$100,000 – $110,000 + superannuation
